Oh my gosh, I just discovered this blog of yours and this painting is wonderful. I love your tip on how you fixed the background with gouache. I have lots of paintings with problem backgrounds and am going to try the gouache. Have you tried the Painting Ground from Daniel Smith for fixing mistakes?
